Product Care

Most garments come with a care label or tag that outlines recommended washing instructions. However, for older items, these instructions may no longer be suitable as fabrics and prints naturally change with age. In such cases, we advise using your judgment—sometimes a gentle spot clean with a sponge and mild soap is enough, rather than a full wash.

When washing, use a cool temperature, turn garments inside out, and select a gentle or hand wash cycle. For delicate or vintage pieces, hand washing is the safest option.

Do not use fabric conditioner, as it can damage prints and patches. Similarly, avoid ironing, tumble drying, or mixing colours, as these can lead to irreversible damage.

Please note: We cannot accept responsibility for damage caused if these guidelines are not followed.

How to Hand Wash

• Spot Test – Apply a little water and mild detergent to a discreet area. Blot gently to check for colour fading. If no issues appear, continue.

• Prepare Water – Fill a basin with cool or slightly warm water (never hot).

• Add Detergent – Mix in a small amount of gentle detergent.

• Soak the Shirt – Turn inside out, submerge fully, and press lightly to allow detergent to penetrate.

• Rinse – Drain soapy water, refill with clean water, and rinse thoroughly until no detergent remains.

• Remove Excess Water – Gently squeeze without wringing. Lay flat between two towels, roll, and press to absorb moisture.

• Drying – Lay flat on an airer. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers.

Storage

Storage depends on your available space. We recommend hanging used items on sturdy hangers (not wire), while new products are folded in protective bags and boxed—either method works.

When folding, take care to avoid creasing sponsors, badges, or name sets, as long-term pressure can cause cracking, peeling, or detachment.

Always store garments in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Garment or dust bags may be used for extra protection but are not strictly necessary.
